Hey! I’m an MA/MFA student in Children’s Literature/Writing for Children at Simmons College. Gay, Kentuckian living in Boston, aspiring author, bookseller, feminist, socialist, wannabe dragon. I am white and do not experience transmisogyny. I am also a lesbian, gender nonconforming, mentally ill and chronically ill. For the record, I support BLM and mental health/disability/LGBTQ advocacy, and I’m very critical of capitalism, rape culture, the police, the military, and the prison industrial complex. If that’s going to grind yer gears, this is probably not the children’s lit blog for you.

My partner in crime is The Bo, a small and chaotic boy.
